Job summary

Labor Finders is seeking an experienced full-time Fabricator to join their Tallapoosa team. This role involves welding and fabricating structural steel components using MIG and/or stick welding while following blueprints and work instructions.

Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months of fabrication experience and be able to pass welding qualification tests. The position offers day and night shifts with a pay rate of $22/hr.

• Knowledge of fabrication tools and measuring tools required.

Responsibilities

• Set up fabrication tools and equipment.
• Measure, cut, tack, weld, grind, and clean materials.

Job description

Experienced full-time Fabricator needed in Tallapoosa, Ga for day/night shifts. Responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel component using MIG and/or stick welding while following blueprint and work instructions.

Location: Tallapoosa, GA

Job Shift: Day (6am-6:30pm)/ Night (6pm-6:30am)

Pay Rate: 22/hr

Key Duties:

• Set up fabrication tools and equipment
• Measure, cut, tack, weld, grind, and clean materials
• Read blueprints and weld symbols
• Operate welders, torches, drills, saws and other shop equipment
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean
• Report equipment and quality issues to supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months fabrication experience preferred
• Production welding experience is a plus
• AWS certification helpful but not required
• Ability to pass welding test/certification
• Ability to read measuring tools and perform basic math
• Knowledge of fabrication equipment and hand tools required
• Basic math and measuring skills required
• Able to work overtime/weekends when needed
• Knowledge of steel alloys, welding material, and fabrication tools preferred
