TRAIL-EZE is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Corsica manufacturing team. This role fabricates, assembles, and repairs metal components used in heavy-haul trailers, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Job Summary

TRAIL-EZE is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our Corsica manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in the construction of heavy-haul trailers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding equipment and gas torches.
• Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions using an iPad.
• Maintain required tolerances and quality standards.
• Position and secure materials using tables, jigs, clamps, fixtures, bolts, and tack welds.
• Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Move workpieces, tools, and supplies manually or with overhead cranes.
• Grind, finish, and prepare completed products.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or quality concerns.
• Repair or replace damaged components by removing and installing new parts as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
