Overview

Immediate Hiring Need for Skilled Stainless Steel Welder

Full Time with Competitive Pay

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our growing team. We are a conveyor manufacturer and process piping supplier serving the poultry industry and the greater food processing industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply appropriate welding procedures and techniques, including weld prep, machine settings, purging, and filler selection based on material grade and thickness.
  • Fabricate weldments and assemblies, from raw materials to finished products according to the prints provided.
  • Follow design drawings and verbal instructions to construct equipment.
  • Utilize shop equipment to cut, form, and TIG weld components.
  • Designs and constructs templates and fixtures.
  • Prepare parts for welding by blending, smoothing, and deburring operations.
  • Collaborate with team lead(s) to solve problems and adapt to changes or rework.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Inspect parts before and after welding.
  • Follow company’s SOP for safe and efficient manner

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate skill in TIG welding through a weld test.
  • Possess exceptional stainless-steel fabrication skills, including layout, cutting, grinding, forming, fitting, TIG welding.
  • Basic mechanical skills to assemble components and equipment according to instructions and drawings.
  • Basic math skills, including converting decimals/fractions and deriving measurements from drawing reference dimensions
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawing prints
  • Ability to put in necessary overtime or weekend work to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
