Personnel Services Unlimited, Inc is hiring experienced MIG & TIG Welders for a metal fabrication manufacturer in Cherryville, NC. Openings on both first and second shifts.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with competitive pay: $21.00 per hour on the 1st shift and $23.00 per hour on the 2nd shift, with full-time hours Mon–Fri. You will set up welding equipment, perform MIG and TIG welding, verify dimensions with measuring tools, inspect welds, and help move parts through production according

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience required; fabrication setting.
• Able to set up welding gear and use measuring tools precisely.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for production.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal parts.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and specs.

What You’ll Do

• Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for production
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal parts
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and product specifications
• Inspect completed welds and parts for quality and accuracy
• Complete work orders and accurately report production quantities
• Label, organize, and place finished parts on the correct pallets
• Maintain the flow of materials into and out of the work area
• Follow production schedules and all workplace safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required; manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to set up welding equipment and use standard measuring tools accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safe work practices
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred and the ability to meet pre-employment screening requirements
