The position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule with pay ranging from $24.00 to $34.00 per hour, benefits, and potential overtime when work is available. This is a direct hire role requiring safe work practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience reading and interpreting drawings, performing MIG and TIG welding, and fabricating and assembling metal components. This is a direct hire position that involves working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to produce high-quality sheet metal parts and structural weldments according to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, to fabricate sheet metal parts and structural weldments.
• Build, fit, and assemble metal components according to design specifications.
• Work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Ensure welding and fabrication work complies with applicable industry codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed work to verify accuracy, quality, strength, and durability.
• Identify and correct welding or fabrication issues as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in good working condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
