Mega Force Staffing Group seeks a reliable Welder in Dunn, NC to join our welding team. You will assemble and repair metal components, read blueprints, and operate equipment that heats and shapes metal. Some warehouse experience is preferred, and training is available.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm with overtime on Saturdays as needed, and candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 lbs, and pass a drug screen and background check.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Spot, MIG, and TIG welding plus fabrication required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Solid work history demonstrating reliability; warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read and understand blueprints before starting a project.
• Source materials to be used in the project.
• Measure and cut materials to specifications.
• Weld materials to join metals using the correct procedures.
• Check finished work against tolerances on the blueprint.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Handle multiple jobs within time frames.
• Weld small and large structures.

Welder Opportunity in Dunn, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Welder to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our welding department, assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape. Their duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm + Required Overtime on Saturdays as needed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprint
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Handle multiple jobs within time frames
• Welding small and big structures

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Spot, MIG, and TIG welding plus fabrication required
• Sit-down forklift operating experience required
• Ability to read a tape measurer required
• Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 45 lbs. regularly
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
• Good communication skills
