Job summary

Lift Solutions is seeking a skilled Welder to join our fabrication team in the United States. You will lay out components, weld steel and aluminum, and assemble cranes and lifting equipment to exact specifications.

You will read blueprints, perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding, ensure weld quality, and follow OSHA safety standards in shop or on-site environments. This role requires physical endurance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Layout/manufacturing of electric overhead bridge cranes.
• Perform welding tasks on steel, aluminum, and other metals using MIG/TIG/Stick to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for fabrication of parts and assemblies.
• Assemble components into final products with structural integrity and alignment.
• Inspect and test welds and finished products per safety and quality standards.
• Maintain fabrication equipment and tools and follow OSHA safety protocols.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Layout/manufacturing of electric overhead bridge cranes
• Perform welding tasks on various materials, such as steel, aluminum, and other metals, using various welding processes (GMAW, SAW, FCAW,) to meet precise quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate custom parts and assemblies for overhead cranes, lifting equipment, and other industrial applications
• Assemble fabricated components into final products, ensuring structural integrity and alignment
• Inspect and test welds and finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards, specifications, and quality control requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working in a fabrication shop or on-site to ensure a safe work environment
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and identify solutions to maintain workflow and quality

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for layout, cut, and various metal shapes and sizes
• 3+ years of experience as a welder and fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
