Staffmark is hiring a Welder in Abilene, TX to prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and fabricate metal components per engineering specs.
The role requires 2+ years of welding experience, ability to pass a Jaeger J2 vision test and weld qualification tests, and the ability to read instructions and weld within parameters. Overhead crane certification may be completed after hire.
Location: Abilene, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
Day Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6 AM – 6 PM | $22/hr. + 16 hours of OT at $33/hr.
Night Shift | Monday – Thursday | 6 PM – 6 AM | $24/hr. + 16 hours of OT at $33/hr.
