Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of Weld Technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• AWS CW certification.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG, Stick welding processes.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and troubleshoot welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick on diverse materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project requirements.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment for optimal function and safety.

Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience as a Weld Technician in a manufacturing environment
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and their applications
• Ability to perform quality inspections and troubleshoot welding equipment and processes

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding systems.
• Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods like UT, PT, MT.
• Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
• AWS CWI certification or equivalent.
