Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications using measuring tools and visual inspection.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment, fixtures, and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding procedures and material requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify and implement process improvements for welding operations.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on welding equipment and document service records.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or a related field
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing welding, preferably with robotic welding systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications
• Strong understanding of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, STICK) and their applications
• Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot welding equipment and processes

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (e.g., VT, PT, MT) for weld inspection.
• AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification.
