Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Troy, IL is hiring a Weld Technician on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.). Overtime may be required. Base pay is $25.44/hr plus a $0.50 shift differential, with benefits starting day one.

You will read blueprints, interpret welding symbols, perform quality inspections, and work with robotic welders, hand welders, and AutoMig equipment in a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this role.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within 50 miles of Troy, IL only.

The technician will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, participating in quality inspections, and collaborating within a cross-functional team of skills welders.In this function, you will:• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.• Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.• Equipment used in this role includes robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig welding equipment.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:• A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
