Responsibilities include preparing materials, verifying specs, and maintaining welding equipment while meeting safety standards. This full-time role requires passing a weld test and undergoing background and drug screening per Washington state law.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of MIG welding techniques and setup.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and welding symbols.
• Strong attention to detail with precise measurement verification.
• Understanding of quality standards, safety practices, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic production or equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Locate weld locations on blueprints or schematics for sub-assembly or assembly.
• Arrange parts and structures of weldments per patterns or fixtures; verify layouts against drawings.
• Load/unload and position welding fixtures as needed by production.
• Measure distances with precision tools; verify against specifications.
• Prepare welding equipment and energy sources; ensure proper usage.
• Position equipment to maximize safety, function and quality.
• Ensure welds conform to quality standards and product specifications.
