Aerotek is seeking Welders/Welding Specialists for a contract role in Redmond, WA. The position requires MIG welding experience or technical welding training and reading blueprints to determine weld requirements. You will operate welding equipment, inspect welds, and maintain a safe work area on a 10-hour shift.

Must be able to pass a weld test, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment. The role offers a consistent day shift with OT on Fridays. Onsite only in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• Technical welding schooling or 1+ year MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience setting up and operating welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Responsabilités

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and weldments.
• Load and unload parts into welding fixtures.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine weld requirements.
• Verify weld sizes, lengths, and measurements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
