Job summary

Selectemp in Redmond, OR is seeking a Welder with strong TIG welding skills to join our manufacturing team. You will read technical drawings, weld to exacting standards, and support daily production duties in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of TIG welding experience, the ability to pass a weld test, and a commitment to safety. On-site hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; starting ASAP with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of TIG welding experience (schooling does not count).
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Pass weld test demonstrating TIG expertise.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Relevant welding certifications are a plus.
• Physical ability to lift, stand, and work in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure precise welds.
• Inspect welded components for quality, strength and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Communicate any equipment or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
