Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Weld Repair technician for the Northlake, TX plant. This 1st shift, full-time role repairs non-conforming parts with MIG/TIG welds and prepares parts for in-house processing.

You will follow safety procedures, tag and relocate parts, assist with preventative maintenance, use the Plexus ERP system, maintain welding equipment, and keep a clean, organized work area to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant welding experience.
• Certified in MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment.
• Repair parts and components using MIG and TIG welding.
• Tag parts and move them to the correct location in the plant.
• Participate in preventative actions where appropriate.
• Utilize Plexus ERP system for job Dispatch/tracking.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep workspace clean and organized.
