Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Florida is seeking a Shift Lead for Weld Fabrication to oversee orbital tube welding, VPPA welding, and manual weld operations for our Lunar Lander program. You will lead a team of technicians to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule manufacturing execution while driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

Daily tasks include start-up meetings, assigning scopes, overseeing trim and drill operations, monitoring quality, addressing non-conformances, and mentoring

Qualifications

• 5+ years in OTW, VPPA, manual weld or aerospace structures.
• 2+ years of leadership in a production environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily weld operations for Lunar Lander program.
• Coordinate technician work activities to meet schedules.
• Ensure adherence to specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Monitor CQS metrics and drive cost, quality, and schedule.
• Provide coaching and maintain production records.
