Job summary

John Deere Seeding Group in Moline, IL is seeking a Weld Engineer to support the Order Fulfillment Process and lead weld manufacturing engineering activities for its projects. You will work within a team to optimize welding operations in the order fulfillment flow.

The role requires a background in mechanical/welding engineering, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proficiency with engineering tools and databases. VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering (mechanical, welding or industrial).
• Knowledge of manufacturing and distribution processes, quality, tooling and facilities.
• Expertise with engineering tools, systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Support the Order Fulfillment Process (OFP).
• Plan, coordinate and perform weld manufacturing engineering work for a project or process.
• Operate in a team environment supporting welding operations within the enterprise OFP.
