Job summary

John Deere's Weld Manufacturing Engineering Development Program offers recent graduates three experiences over two years across Weld OFP, Fabrication OFP, Tooling, and PDP. Relocation to Dubuque, IA is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Candidates should have a welding engineering degree with graduation dates between December 2025 and August 2026 and GPA 2.8 or higher. Prior internship/co-op experience in weld engineering, teamwork, and strong communication are valued, along with

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recent graduate in welding engineering or related field with Dec 2025–Aug 2026 graduation.
  • Minimum GPA 2.8 on 4.0; preferred 3.0+.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Dubuque, IA and participate in a multi-location program.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in eight-month rotations across Weld OFP, Fabrication OFP, Tooling, and PDP areas.
  • Learn and apply weld processes, engineering methods, and tooling design.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to solve problems and improve processes.
