Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support AWS welder qualification and certification activities.
• Schedule and administer welder certification testing with CWIs.
• Prepare welders for certification by reviewing requirements and test expectations.
• Monitor tests and ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of qualifications and test results.
• Track certification needs and recertification timelines.
• Coordinate activities with Weld Supervisors and production leadership.
• Assist CWIs with weld inspections and related documentation.
• Communicate deficiencies and follow-up actions to leaders.
