Job summary

Doncasters in Groton, Connecticut is seeking a Weld Blender to join our precision casting team. You will remove defects identified during NDT and blend welds while preserving wall thickness and features, contributing to the integrity of each component.

The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-3:00am, with a trainee hourly rate of $18.92. We value detail, quality, and teamwork, and provide opportunities to learn and grow within a global aerospace manufacturing group.

Qualifications

The Role

As a Weld Blender, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of castings by working closely with the Weld, X-ray, and FPI departments. With a keen eye for detail and precision, you'll expertly remove defects identified during NDT operations and seamlessly blend welds while preserving critical wall thicknesses and features. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the integrity and performance of each component, making you an essential part of the production process.
