Process Engineer – Groton, CT

Doncaster’s Structural Castings of Groton is excited to announce that they are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their team based in Groton, CT. This is a full‑time position. In this role you will use your expertise and experience to support the organization in achieving its operational successes, meeting deadlines with accurate and precise detail, and optimizing business objectives while aligning with customer specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Handle product/process development projects from inception through first‑article approval using standard manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping.
  • Develop and create written processes and instructions, and provide a structured approach to the identification and development of best practices within production areas.
  • Assist in various aspects of development and provide technical assistance to different departments while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Contribute to ensuring the preparation of parts and appropriate SOPs are followed to meet customer specifications.
  • Use a variety of tools, programs, and techniques to maintain process parameters.
