Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Bariatric Program. The role supports ambulatory weight management with a multidisciplinary team and virtual care, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, 40 hours weekly.

BSN is required and at least two years of RN experience in this specialty is preferred. May involve occasional coverage at other local sites; licensure and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required.
• Minimum two years' experience as a registered nurse in the specialty required.
• Current licensure to practice as Registered Nurse; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care and act as patient advocate throughout the continuum.
• Document and maintain program data according to standards.
• Engage in outreach with community agencies and patient education.
• Support operations for weight management and general surgery patients.
