Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join the Medical Group in a hybrid role in Michigan. You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, and educate patients, families, and staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will lead weight management initiatives, participate in bariatric program activities, provide counseling, and collaborate with clinicians to promote wellness and improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field with ACEND-accredited DPD and supervised practice required if RD credential was obtained before 2024
• Master's Degree required if initial CDR registration is on/after 2024
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; medical terminology
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in weight management and bariatric programs
• Provide counseling and education via one-on-one visits and group classes to patients, families, and associates
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional interventions
• Coordinate educational programs and seminars on nutrition for various audiences
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure integrated patient care
