Job summary

SA Recycling in Canton, OH is seeking a reliable Weighmaster to manage inbound/outbound truck scales, direct drivers, and complete load documentation. You will process payments, handle basic office duties, and support scale operations in varying weather.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of experience with truck scales, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; offer includes benefits and paid weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience operating truck scales in scrap metal or similar industry.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Review, inspect, and document inbound loads.
• Direct drivers to loading/unloading areas.
• Complete required documentation for vehicles and loads entering or leaving the yard.
• Process payments and maintain transaction records.
• Assist customers with questions on pricing and materials.
• Perform general office duties.
• Test scales for accuracy and report malfunctions.
