Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Maintenance Technician in Grovetown, GA to keep our warehouse equipment running safely and efficiently. You will handle preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet tools within a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong background in maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.
Good organizational, communication, and planning skills.
Basic computer and parts inventory system skills.
Aptitude to investigate and solve mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

Complete routine lubrications, repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical warehouse equipment.
Assist and monitor all work performed by outside contractors.
Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance procedures.
Ensure safety standards comply with company, local, state and federal guidelines.
Monitor and maintain grounds and building systems.
Location-specific requirements may include equipment operation or certification.
Handle special projects as assigned.
