Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide home health care to patients in their own homes. The role offers hourly pay with weekly paychecks and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA and PTO, plus a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, taking vitals, aiding mobility and positioning, and supporting range-of-motion exercises as directed, with required competency demonstrated and documented per state

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant/home health aide or competency training.
• Completion of Maxim’s Clinical Competency Program for home health aides and exams at 80%+.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Meets Maxim and state background investigation requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certifications as applicable.
• Participation in Maxim orientations and trainings with 80%+ score.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities (showering, dressing, etc.).
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and using devices as applicable.
• Support ROM exercises and simple procedures as ordered, with demonstrated skills.
