Qualifications

• Must complete a nursing assistant/home health aide program per state/federal rules.
• Must pass Maxim's Clinical Competency Program with >=80%.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Must meet Maxim and state background check requirements.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid training as applicable.
• Complete Maxim orientations and training exams with score >=80%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities such as showering, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Take and record oral and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered
• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers, and using transfer/mobility devices as applicable
• Assist with range of motion exercises and other simple procedures as ordered (with competency)
