Job summary

Northwest Passage Ltd. is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to provide direct care, supervision, and support to youth in a residential treatment setting.

You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where youth can develop emotional regulation, build healthy relationships, strengthen life skills, and work toward individualized treatment goals. Shift hours vary, with weekends being the primary schedule, and there are opportunities to fill in during weekday and/or

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a social or behavioral science field or equivalent experience with youth.
• Proven experience working with youth with significant mental health needs.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to follow through.

Responsibilities

• Provide close supervision of youth across residential, outdoor, and community settings.
• Develop and implement program activities that support regulation and PassageWay elements.
• Create a safe, structured environment and foster healthy relationships.
• Complete required documentation within expected timeframes and maintain records.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and maintain a safe treatment environment.
• Transport youth using Northwest Passage vehicles when needed.
