Job summary

i9 Sports - Hatchard is seeking a Baseball Instructor & Official for weekend events in Missouri. The role combines coaching young players, mentoring volunteer coaches, and officiating games to keep sessions fun, safe, and educational. This is an active, hands-on position with room to grow.

You’ll teach fundamentals, promote sportsmanship, build positive relationships with families, and help run operations across fields at St. Charles County and St. Louis County venues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Baseball rules, skills, and gameplay.
• Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work weekends throughout each season.
• Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support volunteer coaches during practices and game days.
• Teach Baseball fundamentals through age‑appropriate instruction and demonstrations.
• Promote i9 Sports core values, including sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
• Help oversee Baseball operations to ensure games run safely and on schedule.
• Assist with officiating games when needed.
• Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after each event.
• Maintain a fun, energetic, and encouraging atmosphere for all participants.
