Job summary

i9 Sports in Missouri is seeking a Baseball Instructor & Official to coach, officiate, and mentor youth players during weekend events. You will teach fundamentals, promote sportsmanship, and help run safe, fun games across age groups.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of baseball rules and gameplay.
• Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children.
• Available to work weekends during each season (approximately 7 weeks).
• Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support volunteer coaches during practices and game days.
• Teach baseball fundamentals through age-appropriate instruction and demonstrations.
• Promote i9 Sports core values, including sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect.
• Help oversee baseball operations to ensure games run safely and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, coaches, and fellow staff.
• Officiate games when needed and enforce rules fairly.
• Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after events.
• Maintain a fun, energetic atmosphere for all participants.
