Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Soccer Instructor & Official for weekend events in Missouri. You will mentor volunteer coaches, teach age-appropriate soccer fundamentals, and help create a supportive environment where children develop skills and confidence.

You will also officiate games, keep time and score, and promote sportsmanship, safety, and fair play across practices and games. This hands-on role suits energetic individuals dedicated to youth sports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soccer rules, skills, and game play.
• Coaching, playing, or officiating experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work independently and adapt during game-day situations.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Mentor volunteer coaches during practices and game days.
• Teach soccer fundamentals through age-appropriate instruction and demonstrations.
• Promote core values: sportsmanship, teamwork, respect.
• Oversee soccer operations to ensure games run safely and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with players, parents, coaches, and staff.
• Assist with officiating games when needed.
• Set up and break down fields and equipment before and after events.
• Maintain a fun, energetic atmosphere for all participants.
• Officiate games, enforce rules consistently and fairly.
• Keep game time and score while encouraging age-appropriate instruction.
