Job summary

South Suburban Parks and Recreation is seeking a Site Supervisor for Youth Athletics Lacrosse in Highlands Ranch, CO. The role focuses on safeguarding youth participants, enforcing rules, and coordinating staff at athletic events.

The ideal candidate will work weekend shifts only, be at least 16 years old, and understand lacrosse fundamentals, game play, and decision-making under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• General knowledge of lacrosse rules and regulations for the sport.
• Previous site supervisory experience is preferred.
• Understanding of game play, principles, practices, and techniques in recreational sports.
• Ability to make proper calls on command and accept criticism.
• Ability to handle participants, team managers and coaches under challenging game situations.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, community organizations, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Represent the District at indoor or outdoor athletic events and ensure youth safety.
• Maintain discipline and address concerns with players and parents.
• Oversee staff, participants, field/court, and equipment.
• Foster a fun, safe, and friendly environment for youth participants.
