Job summary

South Suburban Parks and Recreation in Highlands Ranch is seeking certified or developing officials to referee sports events across all levels. This ongoing, rolling recruitment offers per-game pay for lacrosse ($40) and basketball ($20–$30), with emphasis on safety and a positive, fun environment for participants of all ages.

• Must be at least 16 years old (15 for youth volleyball and lacrosse).
• Certified officials with previous experience and/or knowledge preferred.
• Understand game rules, safety and fair play.
• Ability to handle participants, coaches, and managers under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Officiate lacrosse and basketball games per rules.
• Provide a fun, safe environment for participants of all ages.
• Communicate calls clearly to players, coaches and staff.
• Maintain control and professionalism throughout the game.
