Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Yard Jockey to support yard activities alongside dispatchers and operations staff. You will move trailers, position trucks for loading/unloading, and assist with trailer handling on a daily basis.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a High School diploma or equivalent. The schedule is Thursday–Saturday with every other Wednesday shift, on-site at our campus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with methods for moving product, including knowledge of laws, policies, procedures and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people and property.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Move full and empty trailers to scheduled destinations around the campus
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers when necessary
