Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Charge Nurse WOW for Labor and Delivery in New Albany, IN. This part-time position covers nights (7pm–7am) with weekend-only WOW scheduling, offering premium pay and benefit eligibility.

The role combines direct patient care with entry-level leadership responsibilities, coordinating staffing and patient flow across shifts. Required qualifications include an ASN or higher, Indiana license, BLS, and relevant certifications (NRP, ACLS, STABLE, LRN) within set

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Current Indiana RN license (or compact state).
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• NRP, ACLS, STABLE required within specified timeframes of hire.
• LRN neonatal certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as a resource nurse and provide leadership for the unit during designated shifts.
• Coordinate patient flow and staffing fluctuations; address staff concerns.
• Work alongside the team to deliver direct patient care and oversee others doing the same work.
• Oversee staffing and operational needs while maintaining quality patient care.
