Job summary
Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center in Memphis, TN seeks a Weekend Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will assess and manage complex wounds on weekends, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and educate families on care plans.

Qualifications
- TN RN or LPN license required.
- Minimum 2 years nursing with at least 1 year in wound care.
- Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wound care products, dressings, and advanced healing techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and treat acute and chronic wounds.
- Develop individualized wound care plans with the care team.
- Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and debridement as needed.
- Educate patients and families on proper wound care and prevention.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans with the team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, dietitians and other professionals.
- Stay updated on current wound care practices and equipment.
