Job summary

Franklin Wellness & Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, TN is seeking a Weekend Wound Care Nurse (LPN) to join our care team for Friday through Sunday, 8-hour shifts. You will manage wound care under physician guidance and support residents' healing.

The role focuses on preventing and healing pressure ulcers, educating staff and families on wound care, contributing to QAPI activities, and maintaining privacy of information while collaborating with the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license for Tennessee.
• Wound care experience required.
• Long-term care (LTC) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focuses on the community's wound care program, working with the wound care physician.
• Oversee resident care related to prevention and healing of pressure ulcers.
• Provide continuing education of wound care to staff and families.
• Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments.

Wound Care Nurse Position Summary
