Professional Bartenders and Servers, Inc. (PBS) is seeking a Weekend Event Server to join our on-site team serving the Washington DC–Baltimore area. This part-time role pays $25 per hour and includes training.

You will set up spaces for banquets, deliver drinks and plates, assist with breakdowns, and work at weddings or corporate events. No experience required; reliable transportation and weekend availability are important.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and guest focus.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift/move equipment safely.
• Punctual with reliable time management and ability to follow schedules.
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
• Available at least 2 Saturdays per month in Baltimore, MD or Washington DC/NOVA.

• Eligible to work in the United States.

• No experience required; training is provided.

Company Description Professional Bartenders and Servers, Inc. (PBS) is a leading hospitality staffing company serving hotels, caterers, country clubs, event planners, venues, and private clients throughout the Washington DC–Baltimore area.

Role Description This is a part-time, on‑site Weekend Event Server role located in the Washington DC–Baltimore area, with a pay rate of $25 per hour and training provided. The Event Server will support banquets, receptions, weddings, and corporate events by setting up event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings, and preparing stations for food and beverage service. During events, the server will deliver food and beverages to guests, clear plates and glassware, maintain cleanliness and organization, and respond promptly to guest requests. After events, the server will assist with breakdown and resetting spaces as directed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide friendly, professional, and attentive guest service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and moving event equipment safely.
• Reliable time management and organizational skills, including punctuality, following schedules, and executing instructions from supervisors and event leads.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with bartenders, servers, and catering staff in fast‑paced environments.
• Available at least 2 Saturday's a month to work events in either Baltimore, Maryland or Washington DC/Northern Virginia.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, with adherence to PBS dress code and grooming standards.
