Job summary

Compass Group USA at State Farm Arena is seeking a Catering Bartender for an event-based, part-time schedule. The role requires mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts; compensation is $12.00 per hour plus tips.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of bartending experience in similar settings, strong guest interaction skills, and the ability to remain professional with high-profile guests. You will stand for long periods, manage bar setup, and ensure compliance with liquor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor regulations pertaining to serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice and condiments.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes to ensure product quality.
• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Takes and processes drink orders; prepares drinks following standard recipes.
• Checks guests' IDs and monitors for intoxication as trained.
• Receives cash, makes change and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
• Keeps the bar area clean and organized, and stores all items securely.

Pay Rate:$12.00 per hour + tips.

Schedule:Part time event-based schedule. Open availbility preferred. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements:The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience working in a similar setting. The candidate should have an outgoing personalitiy and the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience. They have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.

Qualifications

• Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.


• Proven bartending exerience in a fast-paced enviornment.


• Conflict resolutions and de-esclation skills.


• Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmospher for guests.


• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.


• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.


• Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.


• Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.


• Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.


• Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.


• Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.


• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.


• Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.


• Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.


• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.


• Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
