Job summary

Professional Bartenders and Servers, Inc. (PBS) is seeking a Weekend Event Server to join our on-site team serving the Washington DC–Baltimore area. This part-time role pays $25 per hour and includes training.

You will set up spaces for banquets, deliver drinks and plates, assist with breakdowns, and work at weddings or corporate events. No experience required; reliable transportation and weekend availability are important.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and guest focus.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift/move equipment safely.
• Punctual with reliable time management and ability to follow schedules.
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings.
• Available at least 2 Saturdays per month in Baltimore, MD or Washington DC/NOVA.
• Professional appearance and adherence to PBS dress code.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and access to a smartphone and computer.
• No experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up event spaces, arrange tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
• Prepare stations for food and beverage service.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests during events.
• Clear plates and glassware; maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Assist with breakdown and resetting spaces after events.
