Job summary

Valmont in Columbus, NE seeks a Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld components to layouts/blueprints using MIG and other equipment, with focus on poles and substations.

Training is provided, transitioning to a Weekend Day Shift after completion. Required are weld experience, tape measure reading, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal components from blueprints or layouts.

• Move materials using cranes and organize parts for welding.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other duties as needed by supervision.
