Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks an on-site Housekeeper in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across indoor/outdoor areas, inspect work, and report issues to the Supervisor.

The role requires attentiveness to safety, proper handling of supplies, and a professional, customer-focused demeanor. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule including Saturdays, Sundays, and midweek shifts, and provides comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Previous custodial experience preferred.
Multilingual abilities are desirable.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning.
Informs Supervisor of needed supplies and maintains cleaning solutions per OSHA requirements.
Inspects assigned areas daily and reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
Maintains safety procedures and security during work and handles daily work orders.
Completes restrooms cleaning and ensures dispensers are refilled as needed.
