Job summary

Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for weekend coverage on a 7 AM-3 PM shift. This PRN role offers the chance to work five weekends in a row with the 6th off, and daily pay.

RN pay is $55 per hour and LPN pay is $50 per hour, all inclusive. The facility provides an 88-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care environment focused on compassionate, resident-centered care and a team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active license to practice as RN/LPN in Massachusetts.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with standards of nursing practice and physician’s plan of treatment and written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per physician orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated, high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Responsibilities for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Massachusetts.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
