Job summary

Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts. Must have at least 1 year of experience. Daily pay is available, with an all-inclusive hourly rate of $37–$45.80 and up to $3.80 shift differential.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active RN license in Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and care plans.
• Follow nurse manager's care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per POC.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control protocols and nursing regulations compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
