Greens at Weaverville in Weaverville, NC, is seeking a Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing and long-term care team. Earn an additional $3/hour on weekends and work 12- or 16-hour shifts with weekend-focused scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current, active North Carolina RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Geriatrics/long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and commitment to quality resident care.
• Ability to work scheduled weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care per individualized resident care plans.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and communicate with physicians and providers.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care to promote safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance with regulations.

RN Responsibilities

As a Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse at Greens at Weaverville, you will:

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately.

• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.

• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.

• Coordinate nursing care to promote resident safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.

• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented nursing environment.

Qualifications
