Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend Warrior Nurse (RN/LPN) in Rhode Island for PRN shifts. You will provide skilled nursing care, monitor residents, and ensure care plans are followed in a home-like sub-acute and long-term facility.

RN pay is $55 per hour and LPN pay is $50 per hour. This role offers weekend-only work with a 6th weekend off to rest and recharge, emphasizing compassionate, high-quality care and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
