Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted North Carolina LPN license or valid multistate LPN license with NC authorization.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Availability to work scheduled weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care while promoting resident comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions and report changes to RN/physician.
• Assist with implementing individualized resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide guidance to CNAs and other nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and facility policies.
