Job summary

Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a compassionate, resident-focused team. Full-time daytime shifts with weekends offer meaningful daily care, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility assistance.

You will play a key role in maintaining dignity and comfort for residents while upholding safety and quality standards. We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time hires, weekend premium pay, tuition reimbursement, and generous

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs; assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff and assist the nurse with duties as directed.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
