Job summary

3M is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse Operator for the Weekend Shift in DeKalb, IL. The role supports our Distribution Center operations, including handling materials, packaging, and order processing, with a Saturday-Sunday schedule from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will use light production equipment, verify orders, and ensure quality and safety while maintaining a clean, orderly workspace. Candidates must be 18+, with a HS diploma, and able to work weekends; testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old for this production role.
• HS diploma or GED or higher required.
• Be prepared to work weekends, overtime, extended hours and holidays as needed.
• May be required to pass 3M testing as part of the selection.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and work at various machines or workstations to assemble products, package finished goods, and inspect quality.
• Use computer systems to support operations, including process monitoring, data entry, inventory transactions, and order processing.
• Follow procedures, safety rules, and customer specifications to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.
• Fill, process, pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders and finished goods for shipment.
• Inspect products and orders for accuracy and quality, maintain a clean and safe work environment.
