Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound activities and inbound receipt, ensuring quality, safety and productivity standards are met. The role ships products, operates RF scanners, and uses WMS for transactional tasks.

Responsibilities include processing orders per SOPs, loading and packing, cross-training in multiple areas, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment (PIT) and RF scanners or voice-picking systems preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, pallet building, packing, loading, and shipment preparation.
• Follow direction and adapt priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Pick large case items with equipment or small items onto designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Utilize WMS to check in/out products.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work on routine assignments with possible supervision review.
• Report concerns to supervision and participate in associate meetings.
